Is Wicked Ridge a Good Crossbow?

People searching where are wicked ridge crossbows made are usually trying to confirm who's actually behind the brand. Wicked Ridge is made by TenPoint Crossbow Technologies - it's TenPoint's more affordable, more compact product line, not a separate, unrelated manufacturer. That's a meaningful trust signal: it's not an unknown import brand, it's a budget tier from an established crossbow maker.

Answering are wicked ridge crossbows good honestly means separating two different questions: is the technology legitimate, and is a budget-tier package going to perform like a flagship one. On the first question, yes - Wicked Ridge crossbows use TenPoint's own ACUdraw cocking technology, the same core system found across TenPoint's pricier models. On the second, budget positioning is a real trade-off: packages like the Warrior 400 are priced to be accessible, which generally means simpler accessory bundles compared to TenPoint's top-tier crossbows, not necessarily a step down in core build quality.

Wicked Ridge crossbows are sold through major outdoor retailers including Cabela's - that's a legitimate signal worth weighing. Big outdoor retailers don't typically carry crossbow brands without some baseline of manufacturer support and warranty backing, which matters more than an anonymous online rating.

We don't have an independently verified aggregate customer satisfaction percentage or star rating for Wicked Ridge as a brand, and we're not going to make one up to answer are wicked ridge crossbows any good with a fake number. If you want model-specific detail, the Warrior 400 (covered here) is the entry package with confirmed specs - 400 FPS with a Pro-View 400 scope included, priced as Wicked Ridge's accessible tier.

Is Wicked Ridge a good crossbow brand? It's a legitimate, TenPoint-backed line sold through major retailers, using proven ACUdraw cocking technology, positioned deliberately at a lower price point than TenPoint's flagship bows. Whether that's "good" for you depends on whether budget and compact size, over top-tier speed and accessories, is what you're shopping for. For full model comparisons, see our reviews hub.
